The host of Heterotrioza chenopodii.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Now, my specimens looks very different from the photo on Psyl&#8217;list, which brings me pause as to the correct identification of this species (the genitalia look very much like the illustrations from previous papers).\u00a0 However, the point remains that this very common psyllid in potato producing regions of the Northwest lives on a common <em>Atriplex<\/em> herb in the area.\u00a0\u00a0 I have also collected this species from an <em>Atriplex<\/em> shrub in California.<\/p>\n<p>My colleague Dave Horton recently took the lead on writing this paper about <em>H. chenopodii<\/em>:<\/p>\n<p>Horton, D.R., E.
